Abstract

Dating is a process of meeting men and women to form a relationship and to know each other. A healthy relationship can lead individuals to think and act in a healthy way. But in a relationship there are certain phases in which there must be a harmonic and an inharmonic relationship. The same goes for dating that isn't always beautiful. This study aims to find out the relationship between self-concept and violence in boyfriends in adolescents. The research method used is quantitative correlation. Sampling technique using non-probability sampling of as many as 100 respondents. The method of taking psychological scale data refers to the Likert scale. Self-concept scale attributes (48 valid) and violence in girlfriends (33 valid) with a reliability coefficient of 0.940 self-concepts and 0.854 violence in girlsfriends. Data analysis using correlation analysis through the SPSS program version 23. The results of the hypothesis test through the analysis of correlations of self-concept with violence in relation of 0,001 < 0,05 and t count of -0,323
