Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perspective taking towards the tendency of cyberbullying behavior. Researchers use purposive sampling techniques in determining research samples. The criteria set by the researcher are class XI Private High School students and have social media, of 638 students obtained 64 students or 10% of the total from the population as a research sample. This research uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of simple linear regression analysis have a significance value of the Perspective Taking variable show a value of 0.000 <0.05, against the variable tendency of cyberbullying behavior. From this value it can be disimpuled that, the hypothesis that said there was a significant effect between Perspective Taking against the tendency of
cyberbullying behavior in UM Malang Um Lab students received. Based on the Linear regression test table, the value of R Square shows 21.1%. From these results it can be concluded that the influence of the perspective taking variable is
21.1 against the tendency of cyberbullying behavior, while 78.9% is influenced by other factors.
