Abstract

Dating violence is violence that occurs in a dating relationship, which is a special relationship that a couple has before marriage. In an abusive dating relationship, victims are vulnerable to anxiety, which makes them hesitant to leave the unhealthy relationship. This study aims to determine the effect of social support on the anxiety experienced by victims of dating violence among female college students. The research subjects were 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Based on the hypothesis testing conducted, it showed no support for the influence between the two variables. The results of the coefficient of determination test showed that the R 2 value was very low, at 0.4%, which means that the independent variable only explains a very small part of the dependent variable
