Abstract

Every human being needs to have resilience to face various situations and conditions that occur in life. Including drug user convicts in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan, they also need these abilities. One of the problems commonly experienced by drug user convicts is resilience itself. One of the factors that influences resilience is self-efficacy, namely a feeling of confidence in one's abilities. The aim of the research was to determine the influence of self-efficacy on the resilience of drug user convicts in Lapas Klas I Malang. The research uses two scales, namely GSE and CD-RISC through distributing questionnaires. Sample determination was carried out using an accidental sampling approach. Data analysis was carried out through simple regression. The research results show that self-efficacy has a positive effect on resilience. R2 shows a value of 0.919, meaning the influence of self-efficacy on resilience is 91.9%. So this can be a reference for Lapas Klas I Malang to provide provisions so that drug user convicts of all ages can have the confidence and ability to adapt during their detention period
