Abstract

The power that encourages learners to feel, think, and behave is called motivation. The existence of high motivation in learners will have an impact on increasing the sense of enthusiasm in achieving achievements at school and living everyday life. The implementation of this study aims to analyze the level of student learning motivation due to the influence of family social support. Then the method implemented in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were students of SMAN Malinau. According to the results of data analysis involving simple linear regression hypothesis testing, the significance value is obtained below 0.05, namely 0.000, meaning that the learning motivation of students of SMAN Malinau is significantly influenced by family social support. Furthermore, from the test results of the coefficient of determination, the R-square value is 0.623. This means that the learning motivation of students of SMAN Malinau is influenced by 62.3% of family social support. While the other 37.7% is due to the influence of variables outside the study
