Abstract

During the internship at RBA students are required to be able to fulfill learning outcomes both specifically (according to the jobdesk) and in general. In general, students must have the ability to analyze, think creatively, be able to communicate comprehensively, be able to work in a structured, disciplined and effective manner. In facing various job challenges,
apprentices must have good resilience or resilience. However, based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers, it was shown that the resilience abilities of apprentices at RBA tended to be low. This is evidenced by the confidence in the self-capacity of apprentices at RBA is low because apprentices are unsure of their abilities when carrying out assignments. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of self-esteem on the resilience of intern students at RBA. The research design used in this study uses a correlational quantitative research design. The sample in this study consisted of 148 apprentice students at RBA who were taken by simple random sampling technique. The results of the study show that self-esteem has a significant effect on the resilience of apprentice students at RBA with a positive relationship. The higher the self-esteem level of apprentice students at RBA, the higher the level of resilience.
