Abstract
In February 2022, Badan Pusat Statistik of Malang City noted that at least 360,000 people were unemployed, and 14 percent of them were university graduates. One of the causes of unemployment among university graduates is the inability and confusion of students in realizing their talents and potential. The inability of students to believe in their potential shows that the level of self-efficacy of students is low. As a result, in determining a career, students often ignore their abilities and potential and cause a high rate of turnover workers. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of student self-efficacy on their career decision making. This study was conducted using 100 student respondents in Malang City with purposive sampling technique and measured using a scale of self-efficacy and career decision making. The results of hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with a value of R = 0.904 and R Square = 0.817, this shows that self-efficacy is able to influence 81.7% of student career decision making in Malang City.
