Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and anxiety in facing the world of work among students at the psychology faculty at Merdeka University, Malang. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were all active students of the psychology faculty at Merdeka University, Malang. The sample criteria are all active students. The number of samples used was 98 rounded up to 114 active students. This research uses data analysis with simple linear regression techniques. Before carrying out a simple linear regression test, the researcher first tested the assumptions by carrying out a normality test and a linearity test. Based on data categorization, it was found that students from the psychology faculty at Merdeka University, Malang had high self-confidence. The results of the simple linear regression test show a significance value for the Anova test (F) of 0.00 <0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between the self-confidence variable and the anxiety variable in facing the world of work
