Abstract

Quarter life crisis is a phenomenon that often occurs in individuals entering adulthood, including santri. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and quarter life crisis in santri in early adulthood. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach by measuring the self-concept and quarter life crisis scales. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a relationship between self-concept and quarter life crisis in santri in early adulthood. Sampling was carried out based on quota sampling technique and obtained 89 santri of PP. Miftahul Huda Gading Malang as the sample of this study. The results of this study indicate that from the simple linear regression test, the sig p value is <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), which means that the research hypothesis is accepted. Namely, there is a relationship between self-concept and quarter life crisis with a negative relationship direction seen from the coefficient beta value of -.687. This means that the more positive the self-concept, the lower the level of quarter life crisis
