Abstract
PT X is a retail company that has stores throughout Indonesia. With the increasing number of stores each month, employee turnover at PT X moves quickly because the number of employees who enter is proportional to the number of employees who leave. This is evidenced by the number of employees who left the company from January to September 2022, which has an average percentage of 1,25%, which exceeds the predetermined target of 0,50%. Most employees who leave the company are due to workload, work pressure, incompatibility with co-workers, and limited opportunities for self-development. The large number of employees who resign will certainly be detrimental to the company in terms of store performance, materials, and also the provision of useless facilities. Based on this, it is important to conduct research immediately to find out whether job satisfaction and job engagement influence the turnover intention at the crew store at PT X, to be able to control turnover rates in 2023. The sampling technique in this study used purposive random sampling with a total sample of 300 subjects. The scale used is the job satisfaction survey scale by Spector, job engagement and turnover intention modified by the researcher. Measuring the reliability of the job engagement scale is 0.950 and turnover intention is 0.808. The results of this study indicate that there is no effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention, with a significance of 0.053. There is an effect of job engagement on turnover intention, with a significance of 0.000. There is an influence between job satisfaction and job engagement on turnover intention, with a significance of 0.000.
