Abstract

Stress is an unpleasant condition, caused by the inability to cope with pressure or threat faced by human mentaI, physical, emotional, and spirituaI. Resilience is the ability or overcome and adjust to situations or in life, such as surviving in stressful situations and even facing adversity or trauma. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence between resilience and stress levels in working students in Malang City. This research is quantitative research. The sample used in this study amounted to 105, with the characteristics of active student respondents who work in Malang City.The sampling technique is teknik accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is a resilience scale and a Likert scale stress scale. The reliability test results in this study amounted to 0.862 for the stress scale and 0.779 for the resilience scale. Hypothesis results using simple linear regression test the significance value is 0.003 (<0.05) and R Square 0.08 can be concluded that there is a significant influence on resilience and stress levels in students who work in Malang City and resilience contributes 8% to stress
