Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the father's role on socialadjustment in late adolescents. The research design uses a quantitativeapproach. The population of the study includes late adolescents who havefathers across Indonesia. The sample consists of 100 participants obtainedthrough accidental sampling technique. The research instruments used are thefather role scale and the social adjustment scale. The data analysis techniqueemploys simple linear regression. The analysis results indicate a significancevalue of p = 0.00 (>0.05) and an R² value of 0.22, meaning the father's role has a22% influence on social adjustment. This indicates that the research hypothesisis accepted, which is that there is an influence of the father's role on socialadjustment in late adolescents
