Abstract

Tourism is a sector that is quite important in the economic growth of a country. Tourism is also a leading industry that is expressing and experiencing sustainable diversification. Currently Indonesia is developing tourism villages that have potential in term of culture, nature, and human resources. A village that has the potential to be developed into a tourist village is Pujon Kidul Village, which is location in Kota Batu, Malang Regency. Pujon Kidul village is a successful village in the development and management of Sumber Sejhtera village owned enterprises (Bumdes). The management of this rice field cafe involves the community directly so that it is able to boost the economy by empowering the community. In managing the rice field cafe using the concept of governance/ management, which is abbreviated as POAC. The aim of this research is to describe how the management of sawah cafe tourism in Pujon Kidul district, Malang Regency, and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the management of sawah cafe in Pujon Kidul District, Malang Regency. The results of this study are expected to add insight and knowledge about the management pf rice field cafe tourism in the rice field cafe in Pujon Kidul Village. The benefits and uses of this research are to become input in efforts to manage the Pujon Kidul Sawah Cafe tourism in the future. As for this research using qualitative research methods using descriptive approach methods with data collection techinques using interviews, documentation and observation. The techniques used in analyzing the data are data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The research location in this research in the rice field cafe in Pujon Kidul village with the title of rice field cafe tourism management (studies in the rice field cafe in Pujon Kidul village, Pujon distrist, Malang District regulation number 10 of 2013 concerning tourism management). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of management of cafe tourism in Pujon Kidul, Malang district, is running quite well through the primciples of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and activating.
