Abstract
BUMDesa is an important entity that has a central role in developing economic potential at the village level; become a place where the local potential of the village is managed and transformed into something of economic value. Likewise, BUM Kerto Raharjo Village in Sanankerto Village developed Boon Pring as branding for its tourist village. However, Jehalu (2021) found that ecotourism development was not supported by adequate quality human resources. Because the average education of employees is junior high school.
The formulation of this research problem is; What are the efforts made by BUMDesa Kerto Raharjo to improve the quality of human resources as a step to achieve improved management of BUMDes? And what are the factors inhibiting efforts to increase human resources in the management of BUMDes Kerto Raharjo? This research is descriptive qualitative in nature using data analysis techniques according to Milles and Hubernan, namely the Interactive Model.
The results of this research show that improving the quality of human resources through training, education, employee development and empowerment as an effort to improve skills and knowledge can support the improvement of sustainable BUMDesa management. For this reason, efforts are needed to improve the quality of human resources as a strategic step in improving the management of BUMDesa as the driving force of the village economy, through; a. Education and training in various aspects to improve skills and competence in managing BUM Desa, b. Employee empowerment, carried out by sending BUM Desa employees to take part in comparative studies, taking part in skills and economic training, opening employee kiosks, c. Improved leadership, d. Innovation and adaptation are a necessity in the digital era, namely: Providing Boonpring Branding, as an icon for the BUMDesa Sanankerto business unit and its digital-based marketing strategy (digital marketing).
