Abstract

Technological advances are currently unavoidable, this technological advancement provides convenience in all fields and activities, one of which is public services. The Malang city government launched an online-based job search application called Job Fair Active. This application makes it easier for someone to find a job, because they only need their respective gadgets to access.
The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze, and describe the implementation of the job fair active application for benefits and to find out, analyze, and describe the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the job fair active application in Malang city.
The research method in this study uses descriptive qualitative methods which data collection techniques through interview techniques, observation, and documentation Analysis by reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The research location is at the integrated office Jl. Mayjen Sungkono, Arjowinangun Malang city.
The result of this research is that the job fair active application has been recognized by several people, in its application the job fair active application involves cooperating parties such as lecturers, high school / vocational high school teachers in Malang city and the Office of Manpower and Transmigration and the Office of Communication and Information. The job fair active application provides benefits for users because they do not need to come to the company they want to work for, just open the job fair active application they can connect with the company. However, there are still some obstacles that occur in its implementation.
