Abstract

In this digital era, technology has become an integral part of daily life, including presence in the workplace. The implementation of electronic attendance is a significant step forward in increasing efficiency and accuracy in recording employee attendance. Electronic attendance, which uses advanced technology such as fingerprints or facial recognition, has proven effective in ensuring employee attendance is recorded correctly and on time. The implementation of Electronic Presence has been carried out in accordance with the Mayor's Regulations and existing guidelines, which set standards and procedures for the use of electronic presence. Routine monitoring is also carried out to ensure compliance with these regulations and guidelines. Civil Servant (PNS) civil service discipline is the ability of civil servants to comply with obligations and avoid prohibitions specified in statutory regulations and implemented in Batu Mayor Regulation Number 28 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Electronic Presence in the Batu City Government Environment. This discipline includes aspects such as attendance, punctuality, task completion, and work ethics. This research aims to identify the successful implementation of Electronic Presence at BKPSDM based on Batu Mayor Regulation Number 28 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Electronic Presence within the Batu City Government. This research uses qualitative methods which are structured based on the focus of the research. This research uses qualitative methods which are structured based on the focus of the research. The success of implementing Electronic Presence can be measured through the form of implementation and solving obst acles to Electronic Presence in accordance with applicable policies and guidelines.
