Abstract
The Indonesian government launched the Family Hope Program (PKH) in 2007 with theaim of alleviating poverty and improving welfare in the context of social development toachieve community prosperity. The PKH program is an effort to provide conditionalsocial assistance to the community with a focus on underprivileged families or thoseknown as PKH beneficiary families. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the Family HopeProgram (Pkh) in Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, Study of theImplementation of the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic ofIndonesia Number 101/huk/2022 concerning the Implementation of the Basic FoodProgram and the Family Hope Program. This thesis refers to Edward III's theory in Widodo (2010:96) which discusses theImplementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Merjosari Village, LowokwaruDistrict, Malang City. This theory states that four factors are communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This research is descriptive in nature using aqualitative approach. Data sources consist of primary data and secondary data collectedusing data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation ofphenomena and information from various data sources. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Family Hope Program(Pkh) in Merjosari Subdistrict is good. However, there are still aspects that are aproblem, such as changes in PKH participants so that companions have difficulty findingout about new KPM and there are data updates as well as verification processes, socommunication is expected effective between verification parties, PKH assistants, andKPM. There are also people who do not participate enough in KPM Group Meetings, soit is hoped that there will be outreach and education activities for the community aboutthe importance of group meetings and their benefits for PKH recipients.
