Abstract

In a construction project, a contractor needs to plan the costs and time needed to carry out construction work. The amount of productivity can be determined from the quantity of work divided by the time required by the workforce to complete the work. The purpose of this research is to determine savings in workers' wages and determine the difference in time and cost of implementation planning for the construction of type 12/22 houses with 1st and 2nd floors at the Citra Land Tidar Housing Complex, Malang, specifically for installing walls (brick, plaster and plaster). The data used is primary data in the form of daily reports based on observations in the field, and also secondary data where what is observed is the number of workers working, the type and volume of work carried out and the time required to complete a job. From this data, the work productivity per day and the cost of work items per day are calculated, the total length of implementation time and the total cost of the work will be obtained. So from the research results it is known that labor productivity in the field for brick installation is 2.6m2/day/masonry, plastering is 4.7m2 and plastering is 8.0m2, so it is greater than the SNI unit price analysis plan. Based on planning, the time required for work on type 12/22 floors 1 and 2 in Citra Land Housing with the same workforce is 19 days, while based on observations in the field, for the construction of 1 unit of type 12/22 houses floor 1 and 2 with a volume of 553.67 m2 with The same amount of labor required 12 days, where the work was completed 7 days earlier than planned.The total cost of planning wages based on SNI unit price analysis for the construction of 1 house unit type 12/22 floor 1 and 2 is Rp. 176,483 Meanwhile, based on realization in the field, the cost of employment wages is Rp. 123,538,100. So it was concluded that carrying out work in the field was more profitable than planning, and saved work costs of IDR. 54,709,730
