Abstract

In improving the performance of Pisang Candi sub-district employees, this is done by providing encouragement and support to employees in Pisang Candi sub- district, saying that work is worship, giving direction to subordinates to work with enthusiasm so that they can carry out their main duties better and The sub-district head's function is not only to provide input or suggestions for the quality of service to the community to his employees every morning assembly. To maintain communication with subordinates, as a liaison, the Pisang Candi-district head holds meetings once a month. Always committed at the beginning of every year, all staff employees make a performance agreement on their ability to work given by the leadership. Employees who work not in accordance with the SOP that has been determined are called to appear before the management. In terms of supervision, the Pisang Candi sub-district head does not supervise directly, but he monitors the performance of his subordinates through an agreement on the main duties and employee performance functions that have been promised by the employee. What is an obstacle for the Pisang Candi subdistrict head to improve employee performance is the lack of motivation of subordinates to try to carry out the tasks given by their leaders well.
