Abstract

Eleonora Liun, Student Identification Number 19031000079, Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Merdeka University Malang Compiled a thesis entitled the impact of Covid-19 on public services (a study at the Pisang Candi Village Office, Sukun District, Malang City), under the guidance of Mrs. Dra.HJ.Umi Chayatin, as supervisor I and Mrs. Dr.Yustina Ndung as supervisor II. Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. The impact caused by Covid-19 has mostly had a negative impact on all sectors, such as the economy, social, education and public services. As a result of this situation occurring in Indonesia, the Indonesian government has implemented Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) to speed up the evacuation of Covid-19. The implementation of this PSBB as a whole has an impact on changes in individual daily life activities, including: individuals need to stay away from other people so they can reduce activities outside the home, not be placed in an open manner, and stay away from crowds. Based on this fact, the formulation of the research problem is 1) What is the impact of Covid-19 on public services in Pisang Candi Village? The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the impact of Covid-19 on public services. To achieve this goal, a qualitative research method was used by analyzing the data descriptively. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation; data were analyzed using the Milles, Huberman and Saldana analysis techniques. The results showed: first, the service mechanism during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, the timeframe for completion. Third, implementing competency. Fourth, facilities, infrastructure and / or service facilities.
