Abstract

Thesis Title Peningkatan Kinerja Bidang Perencanaan Dan Evaluasi Pembangunan Daerah (Study at Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah). The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the performance improvement of regional development planning and evaluation in Central Kalimantan Province. This research method is research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a problem-solving approach based on descriptions that are not in the form of numbers. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study uses 4 components consisting of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that the performance of the Regional Development Planning and Evaluation Division of Bappedalitbang has improved in terms of performance mechanisms and leadership. However, it is lacking in terms of working hour discipline, alignment of development issues and priorities, and transparency and stakeholder participation in development planning. The suggestions and recommendations given are to improve coordination with the local and central government, increase the number of employees, pay attention to the alignment of development issues and priorities, make the official website of the Central Kalimantan Bappedalitbang as an information center for development planning documents, start tracking non-governmental organizations and related stakeholders, implement a fixed working hour system as a form of clarity in terms of employee discipline, and update facilities and infrastructure.
