Abstract

In the 2019 Malang Municipal Legislative Election, PDIP experienced an increase in the number of female member representatives. Pdip has tried to attract as many people (especially women to become members) with the establishment of mass organizations as onderbouw involving workers, farmers, youth, students, women and so on and provide opportunities for wide participation. The pdip party's female legislative candidates who are elected not only have to compete with fellow female candidates but also compete with male legislative candidates. Based on the problem, this study has the aim to find out the strategy of female voting of members of the PDIP Faction of the DPRD of Malang City in the 2019 election and to find out the supporting factors and obstacles to the representation of women members of the PDIP Faction of the DPRD of Malang City in the 2019 election. Theoretically the purpose in this research is expected to be a study that can be read by the public related to the strategy of legislative separation. While practically can be an adjutant for the party to be able to develop. In this study researchers use a qualitative approach that is descriptive, namely to know or describe the reality of events or facts that occur on the ground. This study provides an overview of the strategies used by women members of the PDIP party faction in the process of being members of the legislature. The number of Informants in this study was 4 people, with the following divisions, Female Members of pdip party elected in the DPRD of Malang City, female legislators from non PDIP parties, male legislative members of pdip party. The research is located at the DPC PDIP Office of Malang City and the Office of the Malang City DPRD. The results of this study provide an overview of the strategy of female partisanship of pdip party faction members Access to communication is very important for strategic and tactical decisions. Access to communication is print media, mass media, outdoor advertising and social media. Intensive communication conducted through media platforms by a candidate or political party signifies aggressiveness in instilling a certain image or impression in the minds of the public. Legislators who interact directly with the community through social activities and become administrators of community organizations provide the advantage of knowing the wants and needs of the community. Interaction with community groups or organizations is important for mission achievement. The development of this political network makes a party or individual have a broad political agenda and issues that develop a base of support. An extensive network can certainly improve the bargaining position of a political party or individual. The role of the family is very important where the full support of the family can provide positive results for the participation of the legislature. Financial resources are one of the contributing factors to achieving goals in political strategy. Of course, funds have an influence in a success. The benefits that can be obtained on the availability of sufficient financial resources provide candidates for the legislature to be able to meet the needs in the process of being a member of the legislature. The process of electing female legislators of the PDI Perjuangan party in the 2019 legislative elections has several obstacles, namely the image or bad image of legislators due to mass corruption cases of members of the Malang City DPRD in 2015, minimal funding owned by non-cadre members. Previously achieved performance is part of an image or image that affects political parties and candidates.
