Abstract

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) is a government agency directly responsible to the President of the Republic of Indonesia. As an institution tasked with collecting, processing, and disseminating statistical data, BPS has an important role in providing information needed by the government, the community, and various other parties. One of the important data collected by BPS is the percentage of household heads by gender in Indonesia. This data reflects the demographic structure of households in Indonesia, which consists of men and women as household heads. In order for the data to be processed into a data visualization design for the percentage of gender of household heads in Indonesia using Microsoft Power BI. This tool was chosen because of its ability to present data in an attractive and easy-to-understand visual form, such as graphs and diagrams, making it easier for people to analyze and understand. This research not only focuses on data visualization but also develops a Dashboard that presents a summary of the data in an integrated manner for more comprehensive analysis. This Dashboard is expected to assist BPS in conducting a more accurate analysis of changes in household headship levels in Indonesia over time and provide the public with better access to relevant information. With more attractive and easy-to- understand data visualization, it is expected that the public can better understand the family structure in Indonesia and BPS can make better decisions based on more in-depth data analysis.
