Abstract

As Indonesia's population continues to grow, the food and beverage industry is one of the business sectors that continues to grow. In other words, along with the increasing demand for food and beverages products, investors' interest is increasing in investing their capital because it can encourage economic growth in the capital market and will increase income. The main focus of the company is to optimize the company's income value and foster the welfare of stakeholders. A company's financial health is an important key in improving operational efficiency to increase profitability and prevent the risk of bankruptcy. A high company value reflects solid financial performance and indicates the company's success as well as the potential for higher profits for shareholders. This research uses this type of quantitative data to investigate how the profitability, liquidity and solvency of businesses can influence their value. The research object is food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2017 to 2022, and the type of data used is secondary data. In this research, return on assets, current ratio, and debt to equity ratio are used as independent variables, with book price as the dependent variable. The results of this research show that profitability and liquidity have a positive influence on company value, while solvency has a negative influence.
