Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of murabahah financing, mudharabah financing, NPF on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2019-2023Period. The selected population is Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority totaling 11 issuers. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, so that a sample of 9 Islamic banks was obtained. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis.
The results of the analysis show that murabahah financing has a negative and insignificant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in the2019-2023 period. This means that high and low murabahah financing has noimpact on profitability. Mudharabah financing has a positive and insignificant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in the 2019-2023 period. This means that high and low mudharabah financing has no impact on profitability. This is due to several main factors. The small proportion of mudharabah financing, high risk, complexity of management, low customer preference, and unstable economic conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic are the main causes. NPF has a significant negative effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in the 2019-2023 period. High NPF increases risk and reduces the financial performance of banks, thus negatively affecting the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks. NPF reduces interest income andincreases operating costs due to the need to set aside loss reserves and manage the risk of non-performing assets. High NPF limits the bank's ability to provide new financing and hinders growth potential.
