Abstract

This study aims to determine whether financial performance indicators, suchas Return On Assets (ROA), Quick Ratio (QR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER)affect Financial Distress. This study uses a quantitative research method with a document study approach to collect and analyze data. The sample of this study consists of banking sector limited companies listed on the LQ45 Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. Data were collected through purposive sampling method and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) partially has apositive effect on Financial Distress in banking sector companies listed on the LQ45 Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023, Quick Ratio (QR) partially has a positive effect on Financial Distress in banking sector companies listed on the LQ45 Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023, and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially has a positive effect on Financial Distress in banking sector companies listed on the LQ45 Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023.
