Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of market ratios and profitability ratios on stock returns in property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2021 period. The population in this study was 65 property and real estate sub-sector companies, while the sample was obtained using the purposive sampling method based on predetermined criteria, so that a sample of 9 property and real estate sub-sector companies was obtained.The dependent variable in this study was stock returns, while the independent variables were Price Earning Ratio, Return On Assets and Return On Equity . Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, the classical assumption test, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination tested using. The results of this study indicate that partially PER has a significant effect on stock returns while ROA and ROE have no significant effect on stock returns. Simultaneously PER, ROA and ROE have a significant effect on stock returns of Property and Real Estate Sub Sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange Period 2017-2021.
