Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to analyze the influence of bank health levels using the RGEC method, namely Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital on the profit growth of Islamic banks in Indonesia in 2017-2021.
In this study, a method that can be used as a measurement of the RGEC method which uses the variable Risk Profile measured by Financing to Deposite Ratio (FDR), Good Corporate Governance abbreviated to GCG, Earning measured by Return on Asset (ROA), Capital measured by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). This type of research is quantitative research using purposive sampling method. 12 Islamic banks in Indonesia were used in the study population. The sample that meets the criteria is 10 Islamic banks in Indonesia with 2017-2021. Statistical approach with multiple linear regression analysis method used in this study.
The results in this study can be concluded that Risk Profile (FDR) has a significant negative effect on profit growth, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has a negative insignificant effect on profit growth, Earning (ROA) has a significant positive effect on profit growth, and Capital (CAR) has a significant negative effect on profit growth.
