Abstract
This study aims to determine the differences in the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and during the covid 19 pandemic. The period used for comparison is three years before the covid 19 pandemic and three years during the covid 19 pandemic, namely from 2017 to 2022. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the official IDX website. The sample selection used purposive sampling with the amount of data obtained as many as 7 banking companies listed in LQ45 in 2022, namely Mandiri, BNI, BCA, BRI, BTN, BRIS, and Jago. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis, normality test, and paired sample t-test hypothesis test to test normally distributed data and Wilcoxon signed ranks test to test data that is not normally distributed. Testing using SPSS software. Taking variables using the Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital (RGEC) method according to Bank Indonesia regulation No. 13/24 / DPN / 2011. The variables used and measured are Non Performing Loan (NPL) to measure non-performing loans, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to measure the bank's ability to cover its obligations, Operating Costs and Operating Income (BOPO) to measure the ability of bank management to control operating costs against operating income, Return On Assets (ROA) to measure profitability, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) to measure capital adequacy. The results of this study indicate that the values of NPL, LDR, BOPO, ROA, and CAR tested with wilcoxon signed ranks tets show that there are no significant differences in financial performance before and during the covid 19 pandemic.
