Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of the level of bank health using the RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, Capital) method on the potential bankruptcy of Islamic banks listed on the Indonesian Edek Syariah Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The variables in this research are Financial Distress as the dependent variable, while risk profile, good corporate governance, earnings and capital are the independent variables. The research method is associative analysis with a quantitative approach. The data used uses secondary data, which is time series data in the form of monthly data. The data analysis techniques applied in this research are descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, F model tests, partial t tests and coefficient of determination. The research results show that the dependent variable, namely Financial Distress, can be used as a model in this research. Meanwhile, partial test results on the variables NPF, FDR, Board of Commissioners, CAR have no effect on Financial Distress. Meanwhile, the ROA variable partially has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the five independent variables are able to explain the dependent variable Financial Distress by 40.6% while the remaining 59.4% is explained by other factors not examined in this research.
