Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the financial performance of the transportation sub-sector companies as measured using the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets and Return on Equity before and during the Covid 19 pandemic. The population in this study were 30 transportation sector companies that registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019 and 2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 17 companies studied as samples. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Paired Sample T Test. The results showed that there was a significant difference to the Liquidity Ratio of the Current Ratio (CR) variable before and during the covid 19 pandemic, there was a significant difference to the Debt to Asset Equity (DER) variable Solvency Ratio before and during the covid 19 pandemic, there was a significant difference Return on Assets (ROA) variable Profitability Ratio before and during the covid 19 pandemic and there were significant differences in the Return on Equity (ROE) variable Profitability Ratio before and during the covid 19 pandemic.
