Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of bank soundness using the RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, Capital) method, with the scope of the Risk Profile using the NPL and LDR ratios, GCG using each bank's self-assessment (GCG), Earning using ROA and Capital ratios use the CAR ratio, and analyze their effect on stock returns of state-owned banks that opened 4 banks in the period 2013-2021. The type of research is descriptive quantitative, the type of data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses developed from previous studies. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, the ROA and CAR variables have a significant effect on stock returns, while the NPL, LDR and GCG variables have no significant effect on stock returns. However, partially, all X variables (NPL, LDR, GCG, ROA, CAR) have an influence on Y variable (stock returns). This is proven by the significant result of the f test of 0.022.
