Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of competence, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat Office for the General Section of Batu City by taking respondents from a number of employees at the Regional Secretariat Office for the General Section.
The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 68 employees and only 64 questionnaires were returned and could be processed by the authors. There are several techniques used to analyze the data, namely competency level analysis, motivation level analysis and employee discipline level analysis and analysis to determine whether there is influence of competence, motivation and work discipline which have the most dominant effect on employee performance.
The results showed that the level of competence, motivation and work discipline measured with the help of the SPSS application in the highest category was the level of employee work discipline with a percentage of 4.38 or 43.8%. Thus it is known that the employee's work discipline has the most dominant influence, while there are influences from outside the employee's work discipline, perhaps such as the work environment or employee work culture.
