Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between profitability, liquidity, leverage, and company Size on bond ratings of public banks in Indonesia during the period 2020-2022. The population of this research consists of 45 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample method used is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression.
The results of the study show that simultaneously, profitability, liquidity, leverage, and company. Size have a significant influence on the bond ratings of public bank companies. Specifically, profitability (ROA) and liquidity (CR) have a significant positive effect on bondratings, while leverage (DER) and company Size (SIZE) have a significant negative effect. These findings provide further understanding of the factors influencing the bond ratings ofpublic bank companies in Indonesia, which can serve as a guide for investors and decision makers in the banking industry.
