Abstract

The development of corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance) will have an influence on the company because GCG can be used as an investor in providing an assessment of the company. This study has the aim of analyzing the effect of Good Corporate Governance on Firm Value (Study on Manufacturing Companies Listed at IDX 2016-2020). This type of research is quantitative and the data used are secondary data derived from the annual reports of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods and industrial sector, totaling 7 samples of manufacturing companies. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20 software. The results show that Managerial Ownership, Independent Commissioner has no effect on firm value while institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on firm value.
