Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Dividend Policy and Profitability on firm value. The object of this research is a pharmaceutical company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling, which means that companies must meet certain criteria. So from 11 companies only 6 companies that meet the sample criteria. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing which was used for simultaneous hypothesis and partial t test. The results of this study show that the variables of Dividend Policy (X1 = DPR) and Profitability (X2 = ROA), (X3 = ROE), (X4 = NPM) have an effect on firm value (Y= PER). Taken together, Dividend and Profitability Policies affect the company value of Pharmaceutical Companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period.
