Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and during the pandemic. The financial ratios used are Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity and Total Asset Turn Over. This study has a sample of 8 companies and the type of data used in this study is Quantitative Data sourced from the financial report documents of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation. The type of data analysis used is using financial ratios, Wilcoxon test and Paired Sample T test. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that the Current Ratio and Quick Ratio have significant differences in financial performance for pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and during the pandemic. Meanwhile, the Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Total Asset Turn Over showed no significant differences in financial performance for pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and during the pandemic.
