Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of asset growth (Asset Growth), capital structure (Debt to Equty Ratio), liquidity (Current Ratio) on profitability (Debt to Equty Ratio) in food and beverage sub-sector companies that go public and arelisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period.
This type of research is quantitative research using secondary data. The sampling technique in this research is Purposive Sampling. This means that the companies used assamples must meet the specified requirements and criteria. So from a population of 92 companies there are 24 companies that meet the sample criteria. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (F test and T test), coefficient of determination analysis. This research was also assisted through the SPSS Version 16 and Microsoft Excel applications.
The results of this research show that partially the variables asset growth (Asset Growth), capital structure (Debt to Equty Ratio) have a negative and significant effect on profitability (Debt to Equty Ratio), liquidity (Current Ratio) have a positive and significant effect on profitability (Debt to Equty Ratio). Meanwhile, simultaneously the variables assetgrowth (Asset Growth), capital structure (Debt to Equty Ratio), liquidity (Current Ratio) have a significant influence on profitability (Debt to Equty Ratio) in food and beverage subsector companies that go public and are listed on the IDX for the 2017-2022 period.
