Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of investment risk on stock returns in the food and beverage industry which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique in this study was to use purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 food and beverage industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017 2021 period.
The data technique used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the Model Test (Simultaneous Test or F Test), it shows that market risk (BETA), business risk (DOL), and financial risk (DER) have a significant effect on stock returns. Based on hypothesis testing (partial test or t test), it shows that market risk (BETA) has a significant positive effect, business risk (DOL) has a significant positive effect, and financial risk (DER) has a positive effect. The most dominant risk is business risk (DOL).
