Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial leverage and operating leverage on profitability in financial sector service companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period. The usefulness of this research is to see whether the company has effectively used the degree of financial leverage and the degree of operating leverage with the aim of increasing the company's return on equity. This research was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis on SPSS. Based on the results of the F test, it is known that DFL and DOL have a significant effect on ROE, this is proven by a significantly greater than 0.05, namely 0.038. smaller than 0.05, namely 0.001. the results of the analysis show that the coefficient of determination is adjusted (Adjusted R square) value of 0.375 or 37.5%.
