Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of credit risk, operational risk and liquidity risk on profitability in conventional banks and Islamic banks registered with the OJK. This research is a type of quantitative research using secondary data obtained from annual reports of conventional banks and Islamic banks registered with the OJK. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 8
banks for each, so that the total sample used in this study was 16 banks. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test.
The results showed that in conventional banks, partially credit risk and operational risk had a negative and significant effect on profitability while the liquidity risk variable hadno significant effect on profitability. In Islamic banks, partially credit risk and operational risk have a negative and significant effect on profitability while the liquidity risk variable has no significant effect on profitability
