Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of earnings management practices and companyfinancial ratios (liquidity, solvency, activity profitability) on bond ratings. Bond rating is astatement about the state of the debtor and the possibility of what can be done with respectto the debt held. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annualfinancial reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The results of the studypartially show: (1) earnings management has a significant and significant effect on bondratings; (2) the liquidity ratio has a negative and significant effect on bond ratings; (3) thesolvency ratio has a significant effect on bond ratings; (4) the ratio of activity has aninfluence and is significant on bond ratings; (5) profitability ratios have a negative andsignificant effect on bond ratings
