Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in calculation between the determination of selling prices in Happy Cake and Puding Malang SME using the variable costing method. The research method uses quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques 1) Interview; 2) Documentation. The calculation of the selling price set by Happy Cake and Puding Malang SME in the production of 7 types of cakes is IDR 3.500 for one type of cake while the calculation of the cost of goods produced using the variable costing method is more profitable because the average for each type of cake the selling price is higher than the selling price set by Happy Cake and Puding Malang SME.
