Abstract

Advances in information technology have enabled the dissemination and access of information anytime and anywhere, including for churches that must adapt to changing times. Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) Majapahit Mojokerto in East Java faces challenges in managing church activities and meeting the information needs of its congregation. This study aims to develop a web-based information system using the Laravel framework to support membership administration, worship schedule management, financial bookkeeping, and internal communication. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology was chosen to expedite the development process. Based on the research results, the developed system successfully met the research objectives by providing relevant features for managing worship schedules, agendas, announcements, financial recapitulation, and information on members and church councils. The system demonstrated good performance and met user needs, although some issues were addressed through additional training and reprogramming of certain system parts.
The implementation of this system is expected to enhance operational efficiency and provide practical benefits for HKBP Majapahit Mojokerto and its members. This research contributes significantly to the development of web-based information systems for religious institutions in Indonesia.
