Abstract

Currently, the electric power consumption monitoring system has several drawbacks, both in postpaid and paid electricity systems. Currently, the monitoring process can only be carried out by the state electricity company (PLN) manually. Users can find out real-time electricity usage consumption by looking at daily and monthly electricity usage recap data from blynk and those that have been stored in Google Spreadsheet. qualitative descriptive research method which is a research method that utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively, so that it is able to display the results of the data as it is without the manipulation process and describes the actual conditions. In this research, researchers hope that this electric power consumption monitoring and control system can be useful for users and make it easier for users to monitor electricity usage in real-time and can be accessed from anywhere. from the results of calculating the use of electric power consumption can be seen through Blynk, that using Blynk makes it very easy for users to control and monitor electricity usage by users and can be done anytime and anywhere. From the results of this study concluded, Utilization of the monitoring system makes it easier for users to control electricity usage remotely through the monitoring system in the blynk application.
