Abstract

Optimizing land mapping is an important aspect of efficient and accurate land management. This study aims to optimize android-based land mapping using Avenza Maps. The method used is qualitative which is experimental in nature, this is done in order to get accurate results. The location of this research was conducted in Malang Regency. The benefits of this research can provide convenience for the community and the government. Avenza Maps makes it easy to import mapping results, GPS tracks, mark important points, and add or make notes on land objects. The research results can increase efficiency and accuracy in land mapping.
From the results of this study it was concluded that Avenza Maps is an effective application for mapping in the field, especially on forest land. Researchers can take advantage of navigation features, data synchronization to increase efficiency and accuracy in land mapping.
