Abstract
In the field of construction, the material often used is concrete. The use of concrete is the main choice because the basic material is easy to form at a relatively cheap price compared to other construction materials.filler ceramic
waste materials. The specimens used were in the form of cylinders with a size of 15 x 30 cm with a total of 36 specimens shared into 4 populations. The cement water factor used is 0.4; 0.45; and 0.5 while the aggregate size variations used were 5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm and the cement aggregate ratio was 2:1 with 15% pumice filler
content. Testing the compressive strength of non-sand concrete is carried out using a test equipmentCompression Testing Machine based on ASTM C39 standard.
From the results of the compressive strength test, 28 days of concrete results obtained from normal non-sand concrete population I have the highest average compressive strength of 12.74 MPa. Whereas for non-sand concrete population II fas 0.4 with an aggregate size of 5 mm the highest average compressive strength is 26.89 MPa. Population III water-cement factor of 0.4 with aggregate size of 10 mm highest average compressive strength of 23.50 MPa, Population IV fas of 0.4 with aggregate size of 20 mm highest average compressive strength of 22.08 MPa. So it can be concluded that the lower the cement water factor and the aggregate gradation, the higher the compressive strength value of non-sand concrete.
