Abstract

Movement generation is a modeling step that estimates the number of movements originating from a zone or land use or the number of movements attracted to a land use or zone. This study aims to determine trip generation in Dasa Elu Village, Katiku Tana Selatan District. This research was conducted to find out and estimate the amount of movement that occurred in the village to anticipate problems that would occur in the future. The survey was conducted by filling out a questionnaire on 241 families living in Dasa Elu Village, South Katiku Tana District. The results of the questionnaire are made in the form of an Origin-Destination Matrix (MAT), using the Detroit method. From the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the total increase in trip generation in Dasa Elu Village, Katiku Tana Selatan District was 1,224 movements in the future, where the previous trip generation was 485. And the factors that influence trip generation are determined by the number of working and schooling families.
