Abstract

Management Information systems are an important tool for companies to manage employee data that makes it easier, safer, and more accurate for the company to manage employees data. PT PLN Nusantara Power UP PLTU Tanjung Awar-Awar is a unit of Power Plant Steam Power under the subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero) which has more than 700 employees consisting of pure employees from PT PLN and
outsourcing employees. However, at present, the human resource division does not have the means to manage its administrative functions on the scope of PLTU Tanjung
Awar-Awar only so that data is not recorded digitally. From this problem, the author intends to develop a website-based information system to handle master data using PHP as its programming language and MYSQL as its database. The author uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) model as his development method that is able to make the best use of time in the development of information systems and uses the blackbox testing method as a functionality test, and the USE questionnaire as a user satisfaction test. Results obtained are: functionality with a qualifying result for accepted usability with the test results of 6 respondents who are users of the information system of competence obtain a result of 79.44% that deserves to be used
