Abstract
Concrete material is often used in the world of construction because it has high compressive strength. Making non-sand concrete produces a lot of cavities, one way to fill these cavities is by using filler to reduce porosity. Making non-sand concrete with additional quartz filler, variations in coarse aggregate size and filler content aims to determine the effect of coarse aggregate size and filler content on the strength and porosity of non-sand concrete with quartz filler. The composition of the mixture used in this research is a combined coarse aggregate size of 5-10 mm, 5-20 mm, 10-20 mm, the filler content used is 10%, 15% and 20% with a water cement factor (FAS) of 0.5 and a cement aggregate ratio of 2:1. The test object in this research was cylindrical with dimensions of 15 cm x 30 cm using a compression testing machine based on the ASTM C39 standard. The results of the research show that non-sand concrete specimens with variations in the combined coarse aggregate size of 5-10 mm, have the highest average compressive strength of 24.53 at 15% quartz filler content, 18.87 Mpa at 10% filler content. an d at a filler content of 20% it is 18.31 Mpa. Variations in the combined coarse aggregate size of 5-20 mm, have the highest average compressive strength of 20.19 at 15% quartz filler content, 19.25 Mpa at 10% filler content, and 17.37 at 20% filler content. Mpa. Variations in the mixed coarse aggregate size of 10-20 mm, have the highest average compressive strength of 19.44 at 15% quartz filler content, 18.87 Mpa at 10% filler content, and 16.42 Mpa at 20% filler content. Mpa. The porosity value obtained from variations in combined coarse aggregate sizes of 5-10 mm is 16.27% at a filler content of 10%, at a filler content of 15% it is 15.37%, at a filler content of 20% it is 16.23%, variations in size The combined coarse aggregate of 5-20 mm is 17.25% at a filler content of 10%, at a filler content of 15% it is 16.91%, at a filler content of 20% is 18.31%, and the variation in size of the combined coarse aggregate is 10-20 mm, namely 18.86% at a filler content of 10%, at a filler content of 15%, namely 17.13%, and at a filler content of 20%, namely 19.74%. The greater the compressive strength value, the smaller the porosity value, if the compressive strength value is smaller, the greater the porosity value.
